Sulfeco

Sulfeco is a liquid nano-sulfur fertilizer for foliar and soil application. Its active substance is calcium polysulfide at 380 g/l, with 12% calcium (CaO) and 26% sulfur (SO₃). It is registered as a fertilizer with the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (certificate No. 725) and manufactured by Lumbreco Ltd., Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

Sulfur takes part in the synthesis of protein amino acids, DNA, and RNA. Sulfeco supports nitrogen metabolism in the crop: it activates nitrogen uptake, converts nitrates into protein nitrogen, and improves the utilization of mineral fertilizers already applied to the soil. It also regulates soil pH and addresses molybdenum deficiency on acid soils and zinc deficiency on alkaline soils.

Certification

Sulfeco holds a Certificate of Compatibility — Inputs for Organic Agriculture issued by Kiwa BCS Costa Rica Limitada, document No. A-2022-37193/2026-A0335842/0792, issued July 21, 2026, valid until June 30, 2027. It is permitted for use in organic production under Regulation (EU) 2021/1165 Annex II and under JAS. It does not hold USDA/NOP certification.

Formats and packaging

Sulfeco is filled on the company’s own packaging line in 0.5 L, 1 L, 5 L, 10 L, 20 L, and 1000 L IBC formats.

Application overview

Typical foliar rates are 2 × 100 ml/dka or 1 × 200 ml/dka for field crops (cereals from tillering to the start of heading; corn from the 4–6 leaf stage to tasseling; sunflower, rapeseed, and cotton from the 4–6 leaf stage to budding), 2 × 150 or 1 × 200 ml/dka for essential-oil crops and legumes, 100 ml/dka for alfalfa 5–7 days after each cut, 3–4 × 100 ml/dka for vegetables, and 200–300 ml/dka for orchards, vines, and berries.

• Apply on its own or together with Lumbreco.
• Not recommended in combination with copper-based products; run a jar test before any tank mix.
• Do not apply above 25 °C; in greenhouses do not exceed 20 °C, with soil application preferred.
• Once opened, use the container’s contents fully; use the prepared solution immediately and do not leave it standing in the sprayer. Rinse the sprayer thoroughly after use.
